JMF Audio conceives, engineers and manufactures instruments

JMF Audio’s proprietary PGP™ 24 carat gold analog printed circuit boards require every single component to be hand mounted and soldered by our experienced technicians using bespoke soldering material. More than 600 components are populated on each board, on both sides.
JMF Audio of France, founded by Jean-Marie Fusilier, has designed handcrafted state-of-the-art amplifiers, renowned for their high output power and natural sound rendering since 1985. The quality and performance of the JMF Audio components have convinced some of the most prestigious recording facilities in the world, from Switzerland to Tom Hidley’s reference studios in Nashville (USA) to Japan, Italy, England, Russia, France... and more recently Norway.

Only a few parameters are measurable with traditional methods and this is where knowhow makes the difference. JMF Audio's products and components are designed in-house and assembled by our experienced technicians. Every unit undergoes a hundred-hour minimum burn-in period before tests and calibrations. Every unit is verified by listening in our studios before shipment, to ensure that every customer receives the best.

Laurent Fusilier, co-owner

Graduate HES Engineer (Switzerland) in electronics and from SUPELEC in signal processing (thesis in applied psychoacoustics at Siemens Research, USA). Holder of several patents.
Immersed in electronics and music from a very young age, Laurent got on computer programming in his teenage years, designed and built guitar amplifiers for his brother and friends and had a passion for music recording.
Arnaud Fusilier, co-owner
research and development, mechanical engineering.
Graduate ENI Engineer (France) in mechanical engineering and from the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse (thesis at the University of Winnipeg, Canada). Holder of several patents.
Immersed in music and electroacoustics from a very young age, Arnaud got on computer programming in his teenage years, played guitar in a band, designed and built his own sound systems to produce artists on stage.
Jean-Marie Fusilier, (1952-2015), founder

Company founder in 1974, pioneer and renown expert in high frequency (RF) and infra-red remote control systems for industrial, defense and nuclear plants applications. His products have been adopted by companies and institutions such as: AIRBUS, THALES, SOLVAY, CEA, EDF, ASCOMETAL, LAFARGE, TOTAL, ELF, USINOR, RENAULT RVI, PSA, EUROTUNNEL, ARMEE DE TERRE (French Army)... Holder of numerous patents, Jean-Marie created the audio department in 1985, by passion.
Audio enthusiast and music lover, a mother and a brother organ/piano players, Jean-Marie Fusilier designed and built his first tube amplifiers in the 60's for guitarists and hi-fi. He later built numerous large scale loudspeakers, commercial and experimental. His new solid-state power amplifiers were selected by American recording studio designer Tom Hidley and equipped the first studio in Nashville in 1989, owned by a GRAMMY Award winning sound engineer.
