Avishai Cohen, Nancy Jazz Pulsations
Jazz icon, composer and double-bass player Avishai Cohen performed at the Nancy Jazz Pulsations festival for the 5th time with exceptional musicians of the younger generation, Itay Simhovich on piano and Eviatar Slivnik on drums. An impressive performance in musicality, nuances and dynamics.
That night of October 14, 2025, Avishai Cohen and his musicians honored the audience by mostly playing compositions that have not yet been released on record.
Avishai, who has been used to producing his music in Sweden, later informed us that the group would enter a studio in Paris, France, to record this new material during the winter.

The concert that took place at the Opéra National, Place Stanislas (classified at the Unesco), part of Stanislas Leszczynski’s palace, who, as former king of Poland and father-in-law of Louis XV, king of France, reigned over the dukedoms of Lorraine from 1737 to 1766.

Nancy has later maintained as the capital of the Lorraine region of France, where the JMF Audio manufacture is located.
