Renaud Garcia-Fons & Claire Antonini

Multifaceted five-string double-bass virtuoso and composer, Renaud Garcia-Fons, whose origins are Catalan (Spain) and whose influences range from Mediterranean music to classical baroque through jazz, was accompanied by Claire Antonini, a reference in 17th century lute related music, playing theorbo in the chapel of the Palace of Lunéville. A wonderful journey through time and cultures for the privileged audience on that night of May 7, 2026.

The concert took place at the Chateau of Lunéville, which was Stanislas Leszczynski’s favorite residence, who, as former king of Poland and father-in-law of Louis XV, king of France, reigned over the dukedoms of Lorraine from 1737 to 1766.
