High-End Vienna 2026 - hifideluxe
After ten years of presentation of a complete JMF Audio ensemble in Munich, concluded by the celebration of the 40th anniversary of our manufacture, it was in Vienna, Austria, from June 5th to 7th, that music lovers, audio enthusiasts and members of the press were invited to witness our latest innovations, hear about the ongoing research and development activities, and live an hopefully unforgettable musical journey. Our visitors were welcomed in the largest salon of the hifideluxe, located in the quiet environment of lake neighbored Arcotel Kaiserwasser, across the street from the HIGH-END / ACV.
We were delighted to unveil the following world premieres and innovations at Vienna 2026:
The commercial version G of the HQS 9001 mono power amplifiers, featuring new auxiliary power supplies with respect to the final prototypes unveiled in May 2025.
An integrated step-up interface (prototype) intended for the PHS 7.2 phono stage, derived from the stand alone PHZ 8.1 prototype presented since 2025.
An innovative grounding phono link (prototype), used to connect the PHS 7.3 reference phono stage to the PCD 302’s ground post.
Presentation of our research and development activities in printed circuit boards technologies for optimal audio signal transmission.
Presentation of JMF Audio’s own recording studios and R&D platform, inaugurated for the 40th anniversary of the manufacture.
Technologies aside, the current JMF Audio Instruments for the Music® had gone through an extensive photo shooting at the manufacture, that eventually allowed the renewal of the website and brochures, showing the actual products, materials and textures, for Vienna’s first.
At hifideluxe in Vienna 2026: the JMF Audio reference ensemble serving the music with the most advanced analog playback composed of the PHZ 8.1 phono interface (prototype), dual-mono PHS 7.3 phono pre-amplifier, the HQS 9001 flagship mono amplification (world premiere in commercial version G) controlled with the PRS 1.5 pre-amplifier, all powered through the top of the range PCD 302 mains filter. As usual, the ensemble was entirely wired with JMF Audio cables: CM4-PHONO, DP5, PC3 cords, CM8 modulation and SR8 loudspeaker cables and a grounding link prototype (world premiere). The digital front-end (DMT 3.7 and DXC 2.2 MKII) as well as the loudspeakers (HPM500), including the woofers, represented some of JMF Audio’s legacy.
Numerous reviewers honored us of their presence during our presentations and press conference. We especially would like to thank Marc Phillips (pt.Audio, USA), Alan Sircom (hi-fi+, London), Tom Hackforth (hi-fi+ / The Absolute Sound), Michael Fremer (Tracking Angle, The Absolute Sound), Uwe Kirbach (image hifi).

In the background, a display of the first recording ever produced with the JMF Audio PCD 302, Jan Gunnar Hoff "Stories", by Morten Lindberg for 2L, who later became a GRAMMY Award winner.
A pair of flagship HQS 9001 mono power amplifiers was presented in Orose® black, and with a see-though cover. In between a hand-made driver board (proprietary PGP substrate) and a made to JMF Audio's specifications power transformer (a pair of HQS 9001 counts four of such transformers).
The PHS 7.2 phono stage (rear view), featuring an integrated step-up interface solution (new, prototype), which comes as an alternative to the PHZ 8.1 standalone dual-mono step-up and balancing interface introduced in 2025 (prototype shown on the right of the photo).
It was a pleasure to introduce the JMF Audio distributors who have joined the family since the 2025 exhibition:
